Day 1

Hong Kong to Tasmania via Sydney

Day 2

Launceston / Tamar Valley Wine Route/Bridestowe Lavender Farm

- Upon arrival at Launceston around noon, proceed to visit the vineyards of the Tamar Valley which is about 30 minutes away from Launceston. The Tamar Valley area – the oldest wine region in Tasmania – is beautifully crowded with more than 20 cellar doors located along the wine route. Savour a sumptuous meal followed by some of the finest wines in the region.

- After lunch, Visit to Bridestowe, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest lavender farm which is with a gift shop and interpretive farm tours.

- After the visit, proceed to Peppers Seaport Hotel and check in. The Hotel provides superior accommodation, outstanding facilities, great dining and entertainment, a wide variety of activities – with all the attractions of Launceston and northern Tasmania close by.

Day 3

Launceston

- After breakfast, enjoy a morning round of 18 hole golfing at Barnbougle Dunes, located near the seaside village of Bridport. Designed by well known course architects Tom Doak and Mike Clayton, the 18-hole championship layout is set among spectacular sand dunes overlooking Bass Strait. Barnbougle Dunes is the first new Australian course to enter the World's Top 100 courses since rankings began, coming in at 35 in 2007. It is recognised as the fourth best course built anywhere in the world for the past 70 years.

- After golfing, if time permits, proceed to a winery visit

- Suggested dining at restaurant Novaro, an award winning restaurant specialising in local produce. Chef Nicholas Hooper offers signature dishes such as Tasmanian Green Lip Abalone in white truffle oil, Carpaccio of Beef with baby beetroots, capers and wild rocket and Garlic Buttered Snails with sunflower seeds.

Day 4

Launceston

- After breakfast, to continue taking on the test of links golf in Barnbougle Lost Farm. In 2010 the highly acclaimed new comer "Lost Farm" golf club, situated just adjacent to "The Dunes" has completed and taken the golf world by storm as it comes in at 82 in Golf Magazine World Top 100 Golf Courses shortly after its official opening. The award is a testament of incredible vision of course architect Bill Coore and the breathtaking views of Barnbougle region.

Day 5

Freycinet

- After breakfast check out of hotel and proceed to the Country Club Tasmania for a round of 18-hole golfing. This championship course in Launceston is designed by Mike Wolveridge and British Open champion Peter Thompson. Bounded by water, the course is set on the picturesque scenic outlooks.

- After golfing, proceed to Swansea near Freycinet and check into Piermont Retreat

- As dusk approaches, watch the sunset and enjoy a fabulous 3 course dinner at its restaurant.

Day 6

Freycinet/Hobart

- After breakfast, you'll have the whole day to explore the rugged and beautiful Freycinet region has to offer including Wineglass Bay, Coles, Moulting Lagoon, Spiky Bridge, etc.

- After all good walks, for a light lunch nearby, visit an oyster farm -,Freycinet Marine Farm – where fresh oysters comes straight from the sea to your plate. You can taste the clean waters of Tasmania's east coast with every oyster that passes your palate.

- Upon dusk fall, proceed to Hobart and check into Hootel Grand Chancellor in which the rooms offer beautiful views of the harbour, River Derwent and the Tasman Bridge.

Day 7

Hobart

- After breakfast, proceed to a morning round of 18-hole golfing at Tasmania Golf Club. Bounded by water on three sides, the spectacular Tasmania Golf Club course is set on the picturesque Barilla Bluff. Narrow tree-lined fairways are augmented by superb panoramic views with large rolling greens and strategically placed green-side bunkers.

- In the afternoon, visit the Sorell Fruit Farm getting your hands dirty picking fresh strawberries and cherries.

- Suggested dining at Smolt, which offers excellent food - including saffron risotto with pan seared scallops salmon, pork belly, cheese and meat platter taster

Day 8

Bruny Island Gourmet Food Trail/Hobart

- After breakfast we'll spend the whole day on an island called Bruny Island off the coast 45 min drive south west of Hobart city centre. The island is connected to the "Mainland" by ferry which takes 15 min to get across the channel between them.


-The island has only a population 600 people but has a number of "boutique food outlets" to tantalise your tasty buds. We have designed a Bruny Island's gourmet food trail to suit your particular gastronomic fancies.

- Black Devil cherries are highly sought after in Australia and around the world for their intense, sweet flavour. As you set your foot on Bruny Island, there is a small shed on the side of the road, Dark red cherries are sold here in bags and boxes from after Christmas until the end of January.

- Located three kilometres from the ferry, the Smokehouse is a small, quaint stone cottage with great views across Sykes Cove and the Channel. You can sample and buy Tasmanian produce that has been smoked on the premises such as trout, salmon, oysters, mussels, duck and more.

-The Jetty Cafe opened at the end of 2009 and is a welcome addition to the dining scene on Bruny Island. The stylish and modern cafe/restaurant has a beautiful outlook over Barnes Bay. The spacious verandah has generous railings that are wide enough to safely rest a glass on while enjoying the fresh air and an uncrowded beach view. Many of the ingredients are sourced from local producers, such as the lamb from the Murrayfield, and prepared with skill and imagination.

- The oyster from Get Schucked as it would be difficult to find oysters that are as fresh as this and as Bruny Island oysters have a slightly different taste to other oysters even from Tasmania (such as Barilla Bay)

After all these gourmet food, you probably will fall asleep and have a nice dream on your way back to Hobart.

Day 9

Hobart

- After breakfast proceed to Royal Hobart Golf Club for 18-hole golfing. The course features broad sweeping fairways, large and exceedingly fast greens and 80 strategically placed bunkers. Requiring thought and concentration, the picturesque surroundings of the Bushland are set in a tranquil, relaxing atmosphere that enables the golfer to focus on the game.

- Free at ease in the afternoon, do some last minute shopping and get ready to fly back to HK on next day.

Day 10

Hobart return Hong Kong

- Proceed to Hobart Airport after breakfast for flight return Hong Kong via Melbourne.
