Austria offers wonderful photo opportunities in autumn with its fiery red maple foliage, beautiful Alpine towns, ancient medieval cities, modern metropolis and traditional villages. If you have been to Vienna and Salzburg , now discover the unique charms of Europe 's smallest and most enchanting lakeside city of Hallstat , whose emerald lake reflects the majestic Alpine peaks. A dinner concert in the famous Baroque Salon style, together with the experience of staying in elegant hotels with the opportunity to catch one of the city's famous musicals or operas, are other exceptional highlights.

Jumbo Golf is organizing an escort-led tour to Austria for 11 days and 8 nights .

This tour is strategically timed to coincide with the European fall period. Tha t is when the autumn foliage at the beautiful ancient village of Hallstatt in Austria starts changing into beautiful colours.

In this golf-inspired vacation, we will also arrange for you to golf all the way from the Alpine heights to the low lands filled with magnificent emerald lakes. The golf courses we will be playing in, such as Eichenheim Golf Course and GC Lake Mondsee, are strategically located between snow-capped mountain backdrops and sparkling lakes. Teeing off at this golf paradise, the extraordinary experience begins not only with the stunning views of nature, but also every breath of the fresh, pristine air you take.

Sightseeing in Austria , as everybody knows, is fabulous. We will take you to beautiful Alpine towns, ancient Medieval cities, modern metropolis and traditional villages. Besides great cities like Salzburg and Vienna , we will also be staying in Halstatt, the smallest and most beautiful lakeside city in Europe , where everything from ancient chapels to cafes, shops and inspiring mountainous backdrops come into view everywhere you go. The village Hallstatt is such an unbelievably spectacular place that even the Chinese have created a copy of the ancient village in Huizhou on the mainland. But only in the original will you discover this truly unique culture with such a history all in a breath-taking mountain setting.

Dining is always another priority in our trip. Again, you will be served with diverse options, from haute cuisines at high-end restaurants to traditiona l Austrian dishes in the winery heartlands. As Austrian , especially the region along Danube River nearby Vienna is known around the world as a wine country, there will be opportunities for you to sample some of the finest liquor it produces.

While we venture deeper into the Austrian cu lture, we will discover that music is everywhere. Not only is music played in the churches, but also around the street corners, cafes and other public places. As Salzburg was where famous music prodigy Amadeus Mozart was born and brought up, our itinerary will provide for your enjoyment of a Mozart Dinner Concert in Salzburg in one of its oldest restaurants where diners are served traditional dishes prepared from the recipes of Mozar ts time, amid the greatest Mozart compositions.

As always, the accommodation we have chosen will be at characterful upscale hotels or castles. One of them is the famous Grand Tirolia Resort with a history of over 80 years old, but has been recently refurnished with state-of-the-art amenities offering modern comfort and convenience. Apart from sophisticated living, we also stay in small boutique hotels, in Hallstatt and on the riverfront of Durnstein, all of them oozing a unique character, set amid beautiful natural scenery. As they come with a limited number of rooms, the boutique hotels require a booking commitment before they could allocate the highly sought-after rooms to us.
